It has been said that the current leadership is ruled by ego and interested only in saber-rattling and bullying in order to get its way.

In the interest of clarifying the rhetoric and inflammatory articles that have appeared in both the Hollywood Reporter and Variety (corporate press beholden to studios for billions in advertising) regarding the Screen Actor’s Guild’s motives behind their requests to AFTRA to allow them to complete their negotiations before they send out the ballots to their membership, SAG’s leadership has offered to debate AFTRA’s leadership in an open forum before their respective members.
I would like to take this moment to give some perspective on the current SAG negotiations. The media always seems to “eat up” the controversy and in-fighting at SAG. So knock it off! “We all have to stand together or divided we fall!” After attending the Los Angeles Town Hall meeting on May 19th, I feel that we have the smartest and best of people working on our behalf and our guild is finally unified! Let’s remain unified and secure our future…
